every choice

Every day we make choices
Not life or death choices
Life and death choices

Every step we take
Is a step into a death
Is a step out of a life

Every step we take
Is a step into a life
Is a step out of a death

Every choice is
What death?
What life?

Are you reading my thoughts dude? I think about this kind of stuff all the time. Like every choice you make, you kill the other possibilities. So a life you could have had dies every day and you don't even know it. These aren't even big decisions either. Sometimes "Hey do you wanna go to Walmart?" changes your life forever. We went to Walmart last year and got into an accident. A kid on a bike ran a stop sign and hit us. We will never be the same again. It was just "Hey hon, why don't we go to Walmart?" John doesn't even like driving that way anymore. That stuff bugs me out. Don't worry, you didn't help me get to that place. I need no help at all. I actually have a house there. Really good poem though.

This song is resonating with me. It's in my heart and has found my voice. I admit to being a Christina Perry fan. I've been known to...
